*The difference in openions is also a sign of aliveness*
Mindsets which resist change are nearly dead. The opinions are formed on the accumulated and limited or available information which we gather from the sources which may or may not be 100 percent trustworthy. Even we find the information gathered by our senses is questionable. Our opinions are separate from us and we must not attach our identity to it. So, concrete opinions should be open to criticism and change because it provides an opportunity to improve the quality of our opinions.
Now looking at dealing with the differences, one must be convinced with his own views first, and ready to accept the improvement in it before asking others to change theirs, then other's views should be listened to understand and the factors which are creating the difference in both the opinions should be examined and discussed to arrive at a conclusion and then, by keeping our ego aside, accept that better and quality opinion which can be again discussed later.
*मतभिन्नता असणे हे देखील जिवंतपणाचे लक्षण आहे*
बदलाभिमुखं नसणारी मानसिकता जवळजवळ मृतवश समजावी. विविध स्त्रोतांकडून आपण गोळा केलेल्या मर्यादित किंवा तेव्हा उपलब्ध असलेल्या माहितीच्या आधारे आपण आपली मतं तयार करतो जी १०० टक्के विश्वासार्ह असू शकत नाही. आपल्या इंद्रियांद्वारे मिळवलेली माहिती सुध्दा संशयास्पद असते. आपले मतं म्हणजे आपण स्वतः नसून ते आपल्या पासून वेगळे असते, म्हणून आपण आपली ओळख त्यास जोडू नये.
आपलीं ठोस मते टीका स्विकारण्यासाठी आणि बदलांसाठी खुली असावीत कारण ही आपल्या मतांची गुणवत्ता सुधारण्याची एक संधी असू शकेल.
मतभेद हाताळताना प्रथम आपण स्वतः आपल्या मतांशी संपूर्ण सहमत असणे आवश्यक आहे आणि इतरांना त्यांचे मत बदलण्यास सांगण्यापूर्वी आपल्या मतांमध्ये सुधारणा स्वीकारण्यास तयार असणे आवश्यक आहे, इतरांचे मत समजून घेण्याच्या उद्देशाने ऐकले पाहिजे आणि ज्या कारणामुळे दोघांच्या विचारानं मध्ये तफावत निर्माण होत ती करणे तपासायला हवीत आणि त्या कारणांवर चर्चा करून काढलेल्या निष्कर्षाला आपला अहंकार बाजूला ठेवून ते अधिक दर्जेदार मत म्हणून स्वीकारावे.
